TJCII encounters to encourage, to teach and to build

Since a few days I am back at the Fountain of Tears in Brzezinka, Poland, from where I left mid-January. Many things have happened in between and about some of them I would like to share some with you. I will begin with telling you about three beautiful TJCII encounters, that I have had. The first one was in mid-January, when I left Poland. I traveled to the north of Germany to spend a weekend with one of the Now Generation (the younger generation) members of TJCII. This young woman is connected to TJCII since about two years and last year summer we met during the Now Generation meeting in Marseille. We connected personally and have kept in touch ever since. I have felt the Lord inviting me in investing in the younger generation. So now I had the possibility to spend some time with this young woman and encourage her. We had a beautiful weekend together with good times of sharing and praying, a beautiful walk in nature, meeting some of their animals and just getting to know her and her life a bit better.
The second encounter was mid-February in Luxembourg with a Greek couple from the Greek orthodox church, living in Luxembourg since 25 years. Until now we had only met on zoom for different TJCII intercession times. It was ‘a logical stop’ on the way from the Netherlands to France, but even more it was a moment of divine encounter with brothers and sisters in Yeshua and encouraging them in the work of TJCII. In my two day visit we had times of personal sharing, a prayer time on zoom and a tourist outing to the city of Luxembourg. The last evening we had an in-person meeting with people from different groups that they are part of: Orthodoxes, Catholics, Evangelicals and Pentecostals from different churches. These people had never been all together, but the evening was filled with a sweet spirit of brotherhood and a lot of God’s presence. It was a privilege to share with them about the One New Man (Jew and non-Jew together, see Eph 2:15) and how this was God’s purpose from the beginning.
From Luxembourg I traveled to France where we had a meeting with a group of about 30 people interested in TJCII. Johannes and Pavol, our European directors, had come and together with a Dutch and a Swiss reformed pastor we had a beautiful, diverse team to lead those days. It was an intense time for me. Besides being part of the team and doing one of the teachings, I also translated most of the time, from French to English and by moments also from English to French. I am amazed by how well that went. I can only say: this was God’s grace!!! The group of French people present was very interested and with God’s guidance a new national team for TJCII France was created. I think this is the most diverse national team of TJCII worldwide: a Messianic Jew, Catholic, Lutheran, Anglican, and an Evangelical in a team of seven! Also two intercessors came forward and a couple with a prophetic gift, who are willing to support this national team. The national team has asked me to be present at their meetings for the time being, since they are still so young in their walk with and understanding of the vision of TJCII. I can tell you: I am deeply encouraged by what his happening in those meetings! And the two intercessors are a blessed addition to our weekly French speaking intercession.
After these beautiful days I went home with the Anglican/Evangelical couple. With him, Roger, I have been friends since my teenage years. And I was so happy to finally meet his wife, Maud! Roger and Maud are also the founders of Mission 4 Unity, the ministry for unity in the Body of Messiah through which I receive donations for my life as a missionary. I was happy to be able to spend some more time together and be with them at home. They live close to Toulouse. My last day with them, Sunday March 8th, we visited their church and then went into town. This was not so much for sightseeing, but for prayer purpose. I was preparing to go to Spain to touch the history of the Spanish Inquisition in prayer. And just days before I had discovered, that the first tribunal of the Inquisition was in Toulouse! There is a difference between the Inquisition in the rest of Europe and the Spanish Inquisition (which also went to Portugal and the New World, which is South America), but still… I understood it was God’s provision for me to be able to go to Toulouse and pray on the site where this first tribunal had been. It felt like touching the foundations. It was a very meaningful time of prayer and repentance and so special to be able to do this with my non-Catholic friends, who would have been persecuted by that same Inquisition!
The next day I traveled to Spain for a big adventure. I just knew I wanted to touch the history of the Inquisition in Spain in prayer. And I knew of three cities that I wanted to visit. But I didn’t have a clear plan and nothing organized for lodging or transport. It would really be a day-to-day, step-by-step adventure, trying to walk in the way that God had prepared for me. I can tell you: it has been amazing, and I experienced daily the faithfulness, provision, and guidance of Abba! But you will have to wait for my next blog entry to read about that 😉.
