Fountain of Tears in Polen

Updated: May 8

After the wedding, I joined the Fountain of Tears for 2 weeks. Rick is busy completing some larger projects in Poland. The more I collaborate, the more insight I gain into the intensive and lengthy process of making bronze sculptures. And every time I cooperate, I learn something new myself. This time, for instance, I learned how to work with a grinder and did the finer grinding work on quite a few smaller bronze figurines. After this, there is still soldering, polishing and patination to be done. So there is still plenty to learn . I am always grateful to be at the Fountain, both in Israel and Poland. Both have very different atmospheres and dynamics, but both are very meaningful to me and my prayer/pre-bed times really take on a dimension. The weekends I actually went to Krakow each time and spent time with my TJCII family. After this work, it was time to go to Israel.
