Starting at the end of April, I will be at the Fountain of Tears in Arad for a month and a half. Rick and Dafna are abroad, so I am taking care of the house and the Fountain. When I arrived, it looked like I would host 1 group each week at the Fountain. But gradually more people signed up and I have been able to host 3-5 groups most weeks. Each group is special and a privilege to host.
One day I had just finished lunch after hosting a group when there was a knock on the front door. I opened and there stood an Israeli couple: “Is this the Fountain of Tears?” They had been looking for some time, asking around, but no one knew anything about it. But they didn't give up! So I opened the Fountain again and welcomed the couple. It was a very beautiful and emotional visit. She had Holocaust experiences in her family history and the communication of this special artwork touched her deeply.
When Rick and Dafna started the Fountain here, God said very clearly that they were not to advertise, but that He would bring the people He wanted to come. So that happens, often by word of mouth. During the first week here, I was able to host a group of Messianic Jews. The organizer of the group actually comes with a group every year. This time it included a non-believer guide who had not been to the Fountain before. A week later, she returned with a group of her own! God brings people 😉.
Besides the visits to the Fountain, I have time to do things for myself, such as working on this website! I received this website as a gift from my sister for my 50th birthday and it is a HUGE gift to me. I also really enjoy being able to work on this with my sister (although she does the lion's share!). I am also preparing next stages of my journey and I ask your prayers for that as well. Some things are clear, but of other things I only have an idea, a dream, and I have no idea yet if and how it will become reality.
